VIMOKSHA

MOVEMENT, STILLNESS, AND CONNECTION

Vimoksha’s mission is to bring the healing power of movement to diverse communities, empowering and connecting people through dance and embodied practice. The company runs movement and wellness programs in community centers, schools, and arts institutions across Boston.

Vimoksha’s artistic practice draws from Indian martial arts (Kalaripayattu), modern dance, yoga, and meditation. Across all forms, the work centers on three core principles: self-inquiry, stillness, and connection.

Vimoksha’s work has been presented across the U.S., Europe, and India by universities, festivals, and cultural institutions.
